Bring a small saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add orzo and cook
according to package directions. Drain, but reserving 1 cup of the
cooking liquid.
Meanwhile, heat the butter in a small frying pan over medium heat. Add
the shallot and garlic and saute until tender. Add the tomatoes and cook
for another minute or two and remove from heat. Stir in the cream. Add
the cooked orzo following with the Parmesan cheese.
If the pasta is too thick, add alittle of the reserved water liquid.
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
